Gubras is a state-of-the-art solution for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring of rotating equipment. We developed Gubras to cover all condition monitoring needs at the MES level. The modular design allows Gubras to connect to the SCADA and ERP levels through different modules.

Gubras isa modular system for plantwide condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of rotary equipment, such as compressors, turbines, pumps, fans, etc. Gubras does more than unifying your assets under a single umbrella. It unifies your monitoring technologies by combining conventional diagnostic, visualization, alarming tools, thermodynamic performance, and automated decision support. Alarms can be set on any incoming data stream-including process data Gubras consists of three parts:
Gubras Matrix
Gubras Matrix is our DAQ solution to read, digitize, and process data from up to 48 analog sensors.
Gubras Kernel
Gubras Kernel is a powerful gateway in charge of receiving data from the DAQ system and the DCS, aggregating and storing the data, calculating performance parameters, and performing fault detection and fault isolation algorithms.
Gubras Visage
Gubras Visage is our primary user interface. Gubras Visage allows technical users to design equipment models using an extensive and flexible tree structure, with users being able to choose from predefined parameters for monitoring the equipment.

More than 15 types of measurements defined for reciprocating compressors. More than 70 performance parameters are defined in our reciprocating compressor module and calculated in real-time, which form the basis for detecting more than 15 different faults, such as valve leakage, valve fluttering, valve sticking, rider ring wear, looseness, and imbalance. Our software not only plots the cylinder dynamic pressure against displace volume, but also detects important points on the plot, such as valve closures and the beginning and end of compression and expansion stages.

Modeling the equipment in a tree structure. The tree structure not only displays the component breakdown, but also displays all parameters, available functions, the status of components, and sensors in the same component hierarchy

Gubras allows monitoring many different types of measurements including pressure and temperature at different points, vibration at different locations, proximity sensors, as well as oil level sensors. These sets of measurements are sufficient for monitoring any type of rotating equipment

Gubras Portable is the ideal solution for diagnostics and fault isolation of smaller equipment or fleet monitoring. The portable version connects to four sensors simultaneously, two for 4-20mA sensors and two for 0-10v sensors and can store data offline or on the cloud for future detailed analysis, while connecting to Gubras Visage on a wireless device to display real-time charts and basic analysis.

Our team of experts provide support in the form of periodically analyzing the equipment performance and suggest measures to prevent faults. We also guide customers into diagnosing their equipment and improving the equipment performance. We provide extensive training for your staff. We teach your staff on how to work and interact with the Gubras software. We also provide technical courses on how to analyze the parameters, diagnosis messages, and reports generated by Gubras.

Gubras can monitor up to 64 sensors per each Gubras Matrix assembly. We have a variety of four-channel DAQ cards: some for specific functions, and some that can read data from any 4-20mA or 0-10v sensor. The design allows condition monitoring of smaller equipment with minimum number of DAQ cards.
SERVICES & SUPPORT
Gubras’s service and support network of experts can help keep your cracked gas compressor and turbine running at optimum performance. With real-time Machinery Health Monitoring, we can ensure that critical alarm tuning, backup, and maintenance services are performed regularly. Our experts will help implement changes or assist during outages or normal operations, or even help you prepare for planned outages. And our experts can perform accumulated maintenance tasks on your Machinery Health Monitoring system without diverting essential staff from other important tasks. During each site visit, our engineers will resolve any pre-identified issues, update/back-up software, inspect the integrity of network communications, perform file clean-up, inspect the integrity of sensors and signals, and perform other necessary maintenance tasks. For users of Gubras, an experienced engineer can be scheduled for periodic tuning of the software to accommodate seasonal or operational variations in optimization requirements. Wherever you are, we’re there to help you make the most of your automation investment.
